We were commissioned by the client to transform an existing detached three-bedroom home into a pair of spacious semi-detached dwellings through a substantial side and rear extension. The original property was compact, poorly lit, and lacked the flow and functionality expected for modern family living.
The redesigned homes now offer two generous four-bedroom, three-bathroom residences, each thoughtfully planned to maximise natural light and create bright, open-plan living spaces. Large bifold doors and elegant roof lanterns were incorporated to flood the interiors with daylight and provide seamless connections between the living areas and landscaped gardens.
The project also involved a complete upgrade of the property’s infrastructure, including new electrics, plumbing, and modern heating systems, ensuring both homes meet contemporary standards of comfort, efficiency, and convenience. High-quality finishes were specified throughout to complement the spacious layouts and create a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
